Dr. Demento (natural April 2, 1941) is the stage name of Barret ("Barry") Hansen, world health organization has manufactured the successful career as a radio disc jockey specializing in novelty songs and pop music parodies. He created the persona within 1970 while working at Los Angeles station KPPC-FM. Legend has it, when Hansen played "Tranfusion" by Nervous Norvus on the radio, someone said that he got to become demented to play that. Thenceforth, a title stuck. His every week indicate went into syndication around 1974 and is still on the air when of 2005.
